We were lucky enough to spend our 10th wedding anniversary renewing our vows at the beautiful Merlin KhaoLak with our three children and our parents.
We organised this through Natasha at Creative Events and from the very start she offered suggestions and solutions, replied to emails promptly and was very professional and friendly. She kept us up to date with all the booking information and took care of all the details. This included the ceremony and accommodation and knew a lot about the areas of Thailand and the resorts involved to ensure we picked the most suitable location for our situation.
The location was superb, Natasha along with Pinwayn,( from Merlin Resorts) ensured that before we arrived the food, makeup, ceremony details, accommodation and extra requests were all taken care of – we did not have any surprises when we arrived, the communication was excellent.
The staff at Merlin KhaoLak are excellent. Our whole stay was made by the staff. The reception staff, the spa staff who organised mine and my daughters’ hair and make up and made us feel like princesses. (They even made us look good!) The food and beverage manager is great and the wait staff are so friendly, so wonderful with our guests, especially the children and the food spoke for itself, incredible.
The setting of the ceremony was beautiful, and the Thai dancers a special treat we did not expect. The setting of the dinner reception was out of this world. A table set up for the seven of us watching the amazing sunset by candlelight over the beautiful beach. The food kept coming and we ate and we ate and still we couldn’t eat it all!
It was a perfect day and even though it was a renewal of our vows it was very much a wedding all over again. We would recommend this setting and Creative Events Asia for a very special day that you will not forget. The staff will make you feel so welcome, Natasha and the staff of the resort will take care of the details and you will just have the job of feeling very special – as you should on your wedding day.
