Lydia and Rob
Thank you so much Natasha for being so brilliant! I feel so lucky to have found you. You really made the whole process of organising a wedding so much easier. You are a machine on the emails – I don’t know how you get back to people so quickly! Thanks for your patients with my extremely detailed emails and questions – it helped calm me so much!
We got married at The Surin, Phuket on 30th April 2013. As everyone else will attest to, our beach wedding was seriously the best day ever – everything was so beautifully organised and we wouldn’t change anything.
Natasha at Creative Events Asia is a god-send! She is so extremely organised, friendly and always so willing to help. I was so impressed with Natasha’s level of customer service and how quickly she responded to emails. I almost felt like she was in Australia! She was so thorough and answered every single question I ever asked (and that was a lot!) She is the main reason that I felt 100% confident that our wedding would be as we had planned and expected.
I did a lot of research for our wedding and Natasha combined with Khun Bat at The Surin were just wonderful. When we approached Natasha we wanted a wedding venue where there was a private beach, where we could get married on the sand, where the sun set over the water and easy for guest to fly into. The Surin ticked all these boxes and more.
The Surin Resort is the most amazing place we have ever been. It is on a hill and you can see the ocean from every aspect of the resort. The staff were amazing and made us feel so special. Their wedding package was brilliant – most things were included. The wedding was set up on the sand and looked amazing, the flowers (Thai Orchids) were so beautiful, the food was simply amazing – most guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had, the fairy lights and the vibe at the reception was like we were in a Hollywood movie. Needless to say – I would highly recommend The Surin as a wedding venue.
As most brides were, I was worried about what month was the best to choose a beach wedding in Phuket. Late April/Early May worked really well for us. Despite everything we read said it was the hottest month – it wasn’t as hot as we were expecting, so don’t let this put you off. There was a bit of rain every few days – but it would always clear up. We timed it perfectly – as 2 weeks after our wedding the seas turned a bit rough and there were quite large waves at The Surin.
All our guests had the best time and really got to know each other over the days before and after. Anyone who had any contact with Natasha was also blown away with how amazing she was – from organizing the hens/bucks, medical advice, travel advice, booking accommodation or organizing a baby sitter.
If you are considering getting married in Thailand – you definitely should. You won’t regret it!”
