• Talk with your Wedding planner about venues that provide babysitting services and kids clubs so you can choose an appropriate Resort where the kids can also be entertained and looked after. Happy Kids means happy parents! Many Resorts in Thailand have amazing child facilities including pools and slides, dedicated “Kids Clubs” and staff on hand to entertain the little ones.
• Ensure that you arrange a child menu for the kids. Most Thailand Resorts will be able to arrange separate child friendly food if you tell them in advance. Also make sure you request high chairs for smaller children and maybe even a separate seating area for the older ones.
• Give them responsibilities. Most children would jump at the chance to be your flower girl or ring bearer. They can also hand out wedding favors and programs to guests or take care of the guest book. Allocating a specific job to them will make them feel special.
• Organize entertainment at your reception that appeals to kids. Elephants are always a big hit as well as magicians and local Thai dance and instrumental shows. Finish the celebrations with fireworks and flying lanterns.
• Buy fun kids wedding favors such as bubble blowers and disposable cameras to keep them happy and put together a kids pack full of fun stuff to keep them entertained during the celebrations.
• Organise to have baby sitters for the evening when kids are tired so that they can go to bed and the parents can party on and enjoy.
• Set up Kids activity tables- with games and coloring pages to keep them happy and occupied.
