Usually, you will need to spend just a single day in Bangkok. This mainly involves a visit to your embassy (or embassies) where you will simply complete an affidavit to marry. Other forms may be involved depending on your nationality or, for example, if you were previously married. However, Creative Events Asia will make the process completely stress-free by advising you of the credentials you will require in advance.

And that’s it! You will now be free to go and look forward to your big day while we meticulously attend to all the details behind the scenes. These include officially translating the affidavits and getting them authorized by the Thai Foreign Ministry. We will then send all the documentation to your wedding resort and arrange for the Local Government Office to attend your ceremony and officially register your marriage. Last but not least, we will transfer the paperwork to Bangkok, have it translated back into English and then get everything authorized by the Thai Foreign Ministry before sending it on to your local hotel or home address.
